Hi, I'm Kasper.

I've spent the last 20 years building software for companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Hulu, and Royal Carribean. At Amazon, I specifically focused on integrating AI technology with Amazon products—long before “AI” became mainstream, even in the tech industry.

But it wasn't until I started investing in residential rental properties that I decided to become an entrepreneur. At first, my property investments weren't too difficult to manage. But as my own portfolio of properties grew to about 30 units, the headaches grew alongside of it.

I'd text a tenant—they'd reply in Spanish. (I speak English and Danish).

I'd play phone tag with tenants when a dryer stopped working, only to find out hours later that it had been unplugged.

If you're a Property Manager, you've been there. This stuff is maddening! Before I knew it, I found that I was no longer excited about my investments... I found myself dreading them!

I quickly came to the realization that across so many of these interactions with tenants and vendors—I didn't really even need to be involved. These were tasks that the AI technology I was building with everyday at Amazon could largely solve.

I didn't set out to build a full-fledged software solution for myself, but as I looked into the Appfolio's and the Buildium's of the world my frustrations only grew. Clunky interfaces. Manual data entry. Constant pricing increases. And it felt like every time I clicked my mouse I was being charged for something! These once high flying companies had gone public and become corporate; and it was me the property manager that was getting stiffed.

So I built something better.
