Step 1: Understand the Two Options
MagicDoor offers two setup paths based on how you manage properties.
I Manage My Own Properties
Select this option if:
- You only manage properties that you personally own
- You are an owner-operator managing your own portfolio
This setup is optimized for owner-managers and includes features tailored to managing your own properties.
I Manage Other People’s Properties
Select this option if:
- You manage properties for other owners
- You manage both your own properties and properties owned by others
This option unlocks additional features designed for property managers who oversee properties on behalf of others.
Step 2: Make Your Selection
When prompted during your first login:
- Choose the option that best matches how you manage properties
- Continue onboarding to complete your account setup
If you manage any properties for someone else, whether exclusively or alongside your own, you should select I Manage Other People’s Properties.
