How to Set Property Manager Permissions

This help article explains how to set property manager permissions in MagicDoor.

Use this article as a reference when onboarding new property managers or updating access controls across your team.
Step 1: Navigate to Property Managers
Start by opening the user management section.
- From the left-side navigation, select Users
- Select Property Managers
- Click on the property manager you want to edit
Step 2: Configure Permissions
Choose full access or customize individual permissions.
- In the property manager's profile, locate the Permissions section
- Click Configure Custom Permissions
- Choose one of the following:
- Full Permissions to grant complete access
- Custom Permissions to select only the permissions you want to allow
- Check or uncheck permissions as needed
- Click Save to apply the changes
Step 3: Set Portfolio and Property Access
Limit which portfolios or properties a property manager can see.
- In the same profile, go to Portfolio / Property Access
- Click Edit
- Turn off Full Access
- Select one of the following:
- Specific portfolios
- Individual properties
- Click Authorize to confirm the access changes
Step 4: Review Access
Once saved, the property manager will only see and access what you have authorized based on their permissions and portfolio settings.
